Amulets
These pieces, called amulets, were made from fabrics that have been customized by the artist using sun printing, gel printing, stenciling, painting, rusting, and transfers of botanical prints. The pieces were all hand stitched and constructed; all of the embroidery was also done by hand. The pieces are attached to antique wooden bobbins from old Indian textile mills.
Care Instructions: These pieces should not be hung in strong sunlight. They can be lightly dusted with a clean, dry cloth or duster. Included with each piece is a custom metal hook for installation. Hanging these pieces from other hardware is not recommended.
